Testing turns up another COVID-19 case

The three-week-long streak of no new COVID-19 cases in our region is over.

The Porcupine Health Unit describes the one new confirmed positive test as belonging to “a man in his twenties from the area of Cochrane, Matheson, Iroquois Falls and Smooth Rock Falls.”

He was tested on Thursday and is now in home isolation.  He brings the number of cases to 68, and is the only active case.
