Other medical conditions shouldn’t wait if you need to use the Emergency Department. That’s the word from Lucie Lamontagne of Sensenbrenner Hospital in Kapuskasing who tells us that we shouldn’t wait to go in. She adds that it’s understandable that you maybe scared to visit the Emergency Department for fears of catching COVID-19 or being turned away. Lamontagne noted that all precautions are in place to make you safe from COVID-19 including proper screening, physical distancing and Personal Protective Equipment. Only one person will be allowed in the examining room with the exception of children or those who may not be able to make a decision.
