Hope Air flies PPE to Kapuskasing

A shipment of Personal Protective Equipment was specially delivered to the Model Town on Thursday. Hope Air flew surgical masks, respirators and face shields to health care facilities in Kapuskasing as part of a larger mission that also included stops in Montreal and the Waterloo region. Hope Air, CAA, Mobilizing Masks for Healthcare and Sunnybrook Hospital joined forces to ship supplies to those communities. Hope Air CEO Mark Rubenstein says this is a proud moment for their company, and thanked the pilots for their hard work. The airline is Canada’s only national charity providing free travel and accommodations to those on a low income in small rural communities.
