A former Hearst priest is facing additional charges after further investigation by the Ontario Provincial Police.
The 80 year-old who was a member of the Hearst-Moosonee Diocese is facing charges three more charges from incidents that took place between 1976 and 1985. That brings the total number of charges against the man to 12. He was previously charged with nine other offenses in February, and returns to a Hearst courtroom in June. Police say that there may be more victims in the surrounding areas, and are asking those to step forward by contacting their Criminal Investigation Unit.
