A COVID-19 Assessment Centre will open Monday in Kapuskasing. It will be open from 9 am to noon.
The exact location of the Centre is not being disclosed by the Health Care Professional Committee that meets daily regarding the Pandemic due to privacy concerns for the patients.
The Committee had studied the Kapuskasing Curling Club and Sports Palace as possible locations because of their easy access to patients.
You are not allowed to walk-in, and the only way to use the Centre is to be referred by the Porcupine Health Unit or other healthcare providers.
The Centre is open Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 am to noon, and the staff will provide you with an appointment time and other further instructions.
