Another major change in the visitor policy has taken place at Extendicare Nursing Home in Kapuskasing. Extendicare Nursing Home announced Saturday that all non-essential visits to the facility are suspended, as well as all outings are cancelled until further notice. Volunteers are also not allowed inside the facility. Extendicare Nursing Home officials have also stated that you will only be allowed to visit loved ones who are very ill or requiring end-of-life care. Officials add that you might be asked further questions to determine if you can proceed with your visit.
