If you are looking for a fun activity for the family, then head out to the Kapuskasing Nordic Ski Club on Saturday. It’s the Health and Wellness Day organized by the Kapuskasing-Hearst-Smooth Rock Falls Counselling Services from 10 am to 3 pm. It was rescheduled to this weekend from earlier in the month. Organizer Kaylee Wedge says activities include free ski and snowshoes rentals.
“There’s a scavenger hunt with prizes for those who want to head out on the trails,” she said. “We have various vendor booths from a number of organizations. Free hot chocolate and chili also available.”
Wedge says they are thrilled with the number of vendor booths set up.
“Some of the booths include Third Round, Rock Box Crossfit with the various programs they offer, Bonjour-Welcome, and Counselling Services,” she said.
