Kids Invent Workshop option for March Break activities

A kids invent workshop may be an activity for your children during the March Break. It’s being hosted by the North Claybelt Head Start in Business program on March 16 and 17 at the Sports Palace. Program Coordinator Nathalie Leonard hopes children have fun and maybe one day start their own business.

“It’s just to get them thinking outside of the box,” she said. “Sometimes the kids are just bored, but they can take the tools that we give them, and go home to invent something completely new that they can enjoy with their family and friends.”

Leonard says there will be instruction and hands on learning.

“It’s going to be a combination of the both,” she added. “We hope the kids go home with great experiences and maybe a little messy because that means they are learning.”

It’s open for children 9 to 13 and registration fee is just $50 and includes snacks and supplies.  For further information contact Nathalie Leonard at 705-337-1407.
