It’s become part of the school week routine this year, wondering when your kids’ teachers will be on strike.
English public elementary schools in this part of Northeastern Ontario are shut today (Monday), because of one of those rotating strikes. A province-wide one on Thursday will also give your kids the day off.
Tomorrow, it’s the English Catholic schools at all levels that will be closed, while their teachers walk picket lines right across the province.
