For the first time today… all of Ontario’s English public elementary school teachers will stage a one-day strike. Along with three other teachers’ unions… they’re trying to pressure the province to get back to the contract bargaining table.
In our region… all JK-to-Grade 8 schools operated by DSB-1 will be closed… while the teachers picket.
