If your business is looking at improving its teamwork, then there is a workshop available next week. The Kapuskasing District Chamber of Commerce is hosting a lunch time series on Tuesday about collaboration in the workplace. Lori Ann Duguay, who will be guest speaker, says that the luncheon will provide tips and tools to learn more about the roles of different people have within businesses and organizations.
“We can provide self awareness to your team members on what their preferences are and help them in their ability to read other people,” she said. “Some of the challenges and behaviors we are seeing in the work place are people being misinterpreted as aggressive or too direct. The fact is that people are not speaking the same language.”
