A main week has been set aside for the Kapuskasing 100 celebrations. The special committee has chosen July 26 to August 1st of 2021 where the majority of the activities will be taking place. Mayor Dave Plourde is thrilled with the progress being made by the committee.
“There has been a lot of work to date and much discussion,” he said. “Now we have a date to put in our calendars and know that we can start planning around it.”
The committee is in search of a logo for the upcoming celebrations. You have until December 12th to submit your design to the Town of Kapuskasing where one will be chosen. The words “Kap 100” must be included in any logo design and the winning selection will be used throughout the year. You must submit your logo as a jpeg, in the subject line just contain Kap 100 logo contest. Make sure you have your name, address and phone number. Email all entrants by December 12 to [email protected].
