Looking for a job or maybe a career change? There is a job fair set for Tuesday, Nov. 26 at College Boreal from 10 am to 2 pm where over 15 different companies will be on hand looking for help. Employment Options Community Outreach worker Josee Olivier says these job fairs are excellent for one on one meetings.
“To get that face to face with employers is so very important,” she said. “If you are noticing that you are applying for jobs and not hearing from employers then this is the time to be proactive and come to an event like this and let them know what you want.”
Oilivier said job seekers should come ready to mingle.
“Come interview ready and dress to impress,” she said. “Bring your resume and cover letter in hand.”
Some of the companies that are attending are Sensenbrenner Hospital, Cochrane District Detox Centre, and Contact North just to name a few. There is no need to pre-register and Olivier says that if you don’t have a printer then College Boreal/Employment Options can help you print off what you may need for the event.
