There is a very special event for ladies this Saturday. It’s the Amplify Women’s Empowerment and Confidence Conference that will be held all day at the Kapuskasing Civic Center Auditorium. Organizer Crystal Brisson says the first time conference is sold out and aimed at inspiring women in their everyday lives.
“We want the women to get after their goals and what they want in their daily lives,” Brisson said. “I know as women we wear a thousand and one hats and wear a lot of guilt when it comes to our own goals.”
Brisson says she hopes that women will leave the conference with a new sense of enthusiasm in their lives whether it’s starting a career, going back to school, writing a book whatever it is they want to accomplish. Brisson is one of four guest speakers at the event that include Danny Johnson, Susan Crawford and Erin Brown. There is a lunch and information booths provided and all proceeds are benefiting Habitat Interlude.
