Having trouble finding a family doctor? The Family Health Team is inviting people to come by the Medical Building in Kapuskasing to not only check out their service,s but to begin the process of finding a physician. Health Team Spokesman Melanie Lawrence says not being able to find a doctor or having access to medical services is one of the biggest issues they are hearing from people.
“We currently have two new doctors that are accepting patients,” Lawrence said. “So people can come by our offices in the medical building learn about our services and get signed up on our list for a new family doctor. It’s only a matter of time before they will be able to get access to medical services like that.”
The Family Health Team has been part of the medical community for just over a year. The team consists of a group of health professional ranging from nurse practitioners to registered nurses.
