North Centennial Manor looking for volunteers

Have some free extra time? North Centennial Manor is looking for a few volunteers to help out with a variety of different things from music sessions to bingo, reading, puzzles and much more. Diane Belisle has been a volunteer with the Manor for several years and says the facility is one big family and they need help.

“Volunteers are key at the manor and you can do much to enrich their lives,” she said. “We are like one big family and when you have 78 family members you need assistance.”

Belisle says volunteers can even do something simple has take residents for a walk.

“We have a new walking path at the manor,” she said. “We are looking at starting a walking club in the summer to get the residents outside more.The Manor is holding a volunteer work shop this Tuesday from 1:30 to 3 pm and from 6:30 to 8 pm at its facility.
