Sensenbrenner Hospital Holding Walk-In Days For Mammograms

October is a time to honor the Colour Pink. It’s Breast Cancer Awareness month and Sensenbrenner Hospital’s Diagnostic Imaging Department is offering walk-in days.

Those dates are this Friday and then Monday, and a final one towards the end of the month. The walk-ins will run from 8:30 am to 3 pm and for ladies between the ages of 50 and 74. Those interested must not have had a mammogram in the last two years and are without symptoms. Ladies who participate will receive a gift! Every year, about 12,000 women in Ontario will get breast cancer and about 2,000 women will die from it.  Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in Canadian women, affecting 1 in 8 in her lifetime.
