It’s Fall Tea Time! That’s the major fundraising event for North Centennial Manor and it’s set for this Sunday from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. Activities Coordinator Sylvie Tremblay says the event helps them buy different items to help their residents.
“We buy big TVs for them to have movie night or to play the Wii,” she said. “We also have purchased swing sets for them and Gazebos for each of the different wings of the Manor.”
Tremblay says purchasing the swings and gazebos help to improve the moral of the residents. She adds that many of them have these type of things at their own homes and miss them when they get to the manor.
