Christmas Angel Program preparations have begun

Even though Christmas is still less than three months away, it’s not too early to be thinking about the less fortunate children during that time. The NEOFACS North Christmas Angel program held their first meeting to prepare for a busy holiday season. Chairman Mireille Dubosq is looking forward to another busy year.

“we just started getting things together with the different forms and the stock as well as the line-up of activities,” she said. “It all going to help children in need in our region so they have a great Christmas.”

Dubosq says their wish list has grown and grown.

“Last year we doubled our Wish Lists and grew to over 300 children that were serviced through the campaign from Hearst to Iroquois Falls,” she said.

The Christmas Angel program will kick off in November and consists of the Radio-a-thon slated for early December, two toy drives, including fill an ambulance, plus two Christmas trees at both Walmart and Moonbeam Country Store.
