Sharing their culture through music and comedy. It’s what the Centre De Loisirs is attempting to do this year by adding several bilingual concerts and plays during it’s season of programs. Director jimmy Cote says they’ve received lots of positive feedback so far from those who attended the first show Jack.
“We were waiting to see how the community would react once we announced these bilingual shows,” Cote said. “So far so good. The comments have been very positive to the bilingual shows we’ve added to the line-up this year.”
One of the shows that has local residents excited is the return of Remey Rey to her hometown in November.
“To have a girl like her come back to do a show in her home town is fantastic,” he said. “She has lots of great things going on in her career so it’s very exciting for us.”
