Election Candidates Deciding on Campaign Offices and Where To Put Them

One of the early decisions for candidates in the Federal Election is to decide on a campaign officed and where to put them. In the riding of Algoma-Manitoulin-Kapuskasing, which is one of the largest in the country, candidates need to decide on the number of offices they will be having and in what communities. Incumbent Carole Hughes of the NDP and Liberal Candidate Heather Wilson each have campaign offices set up on McPherson in Kapuskasing. Dave Williamson of the Conservatives says they are meeting tonight to discuss opening an office in Kapuskasing. Williamson says he wants an office that be staffed, and give the public the correct information.

Two of the other candidates David De Lisle of the People’s Party of Canada and Max Chapman of the Green will not be opening up offices in Kapuskasing. Chapman is looking forward to being in Kapuskasing in October.
