Rock Box Cross Fit will have a new home. Kapuskasing Town Council voted to let the business rent the storage facility next to the Fire Department during it’s meeting on Thursday night. Tania Ouellette-Torok of Rock Box Cross Fit says they are thrilled with the decision and that it’s an ideal location.
“It’s welcomed news, we have been looking for a location for a number of years,” said Ouellette-Torok. “When we saw that there could be an opportunity to rent the place we jumped on it.”
Councillors had been wrestling with the decision on what to do with the location and opened it up for tenders to interested businesses. Rock Box Cross Fit had been currently using the Kapuskasing Curling Club as a location and had been looking for a variety of locations for its’ business. Ouellette-Torok hopes to get everything ready and be moved over by October 1st if possible.
