If you are thinking of attending the inaugural Kapuskasing Brewfest on September 13 and 14 at the Centre De Loisirs then you better get tickets pretty fast. General Director and Brewfest organizer Jimmy Cote says ticket sales have been going very well for both nights.
“It’s an exciting time, it’s less than three weeks away,” said Cote. “Everything is falling into place and finalizing the details. We are almost sold out for the Friday night and we have close to 250 tickets sold for the Saturday.”
Cote said they have eight micro-brewers coming to town for the even which is more than they expect.
“We were aiming for four to five of them when we first started so to have more than that is great,” he said.
There is a completely local musical line-up for Friday, September 13th featuring among other bands North Country Brotherhood, while Canadian Country Music Artist Dylan Burk will headline Saturday, Sept. 14.
