Heather Wilson is Liberal Candidate For Algoma-Manitoulin-Kapuskasing In Federal Election

The Liberals have their candidate for the Algoma-Manitoulin Kapuskasing Riding in the upcoming Federal Election in October. It’s Heather Wilson from Espanola who has already been knocking on doors in the Kapuskasing area and meeting with local residents. Wilson says she understands just how big and vast the riding is, but everyone has been very receptive so far.

Wilson is an experienced business woman. She and her husband have three sons.

Wilson says she has a long history with the liberals and her great uncle who was an MPP for over 40 years. She adds that in the Kapuskasing area the major concerns have been jobs and getting the right people to those jobs. Carol Hughes of the NDP is the incumbent in that riding. Others nominated are David Williamson of the Conservatives, Max Chapman of the Green Party and David DeLisle of the PPC. The Federal Election is set for late October.
