The Centre De Loisirs announced its concert and play line-up for the upcoming year on Thursday night.
This year’s line-up has lots of local flavor with former Kapuskasing resident Remey Ray coming on Friday, Nov. 22 with Annie Blanchard, and then Moonbeam native Genevieve RB and Alain Barbeau in concert with Phil Smith on Saturday, April 18. Director General Jimmy Cote says they have added several shows that are more English friendly so they can expand their culture to a new audience.
The English friendly shows include the play Jack, the quartet Qwartz and Mark Hervieux (her-vi-u).
Cote said they increased their series from 4 to 9 performances due to high demand and interest in having more shows in Kapuskasing. The series begins with the play Jack on Tuesday, September 20th.
