The man accused of driving a truck through the front door of the Cochrane OPP office Monday night has just seen the list of charges against him get longer.
He was earlier charged with driving while prohibited, and two counts of driving causing bodily harm.
Constable Michelle Coulombe relays the news of the additional counts against the 45-year-old Ottawa area man:
“The gentleman has been charged with two counts of mischief over $5,000 and mischief endangering life and he remains in custody and he is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, July 29th,” she says.
Coulombe says that last one is in connection with the woman who was badly hurt in the incident.
“She was in the lobby area waiting to speak to an officer and as a result of his actions, he endangered her life.”
