UPDATE, WED., JUNE 19: Restrictions lifted.
Restrictions on visitors to North Centennial Manor could be lifted as soon as Wednesday.
They were put into force late last wee, when four of the 78 residents of the long term care facility contracted the virus that causes gastroenteritis.
Administrator Claude Tremblay and director of care Nancy Tremblay tell My Kapuskasing Now Dot Com that the four residents are feeling better. Once the home has gone the required period with no symptom, the Porcupine Health Unit will allow the restrictons on visitors to be removed.
