Gastro outbreak leads to severe restrictions on visitors at North Centennial Manor

A gastroenteric outbreak among residents of North Centennial Manor in Kapuskasing has led to severe restrictions on visiting.  Below is the notice from Manor Admnistration:

DO NOT VISIT THE MANOR IF YOU PRESENTLY HAVE OR HAVE HAD IN THE LAST 48 HOURS, ANY OF THE FOLLOWING SYMPTOMS:

  • NAUSEA
  • VOMITING
  • DIARRHEA
  • FEVER

As always, if you have a cough or runny nose, do not visit the Manor.

Children under 12 are not to visit.

Limit of 1 visitor per resident.

If you visit, wash your hands when arriving, when leaving the room of the resident, and again before leaving the Manor.

All activities are cancelled until further notice.

Residents must stay in their own wings.

We will notify you once the outbreak is over.
