Environment Canada says a heavy rainfall will continue off and on throughout today and into the evening, falling in the amount of near 50 millimetres.
The weather agency says the heaviest rain is expected this afternoon.
Environment Canada is reminding the community that heavy downpours can cause flash floods and pooling on roadways.
The weather agency also says heavy rain may cause reduced visibility while driving, so turn on your lights and maintain a safe distance between cars.
