Highway 11 has now been re-opened according to the Ministry of Transportation Ontario.
A traffic collision — possibly between two transport trucks — has shut down Highway 11, just three kilometres south of Val Gagné Rd.
The OPP regional communications centre in North Bay has very little information, except to confirm that it is an accident that happened at about 11:55am, the highway is closed and for how long isn’t determined.
If you’re headed in either direction, you can detour around the accident site via Val Gagné Rd. and Hwy. 101.
