This week the focus is on the importance of infrastructure and services.
The town of Kapuskasing and its council members voted in support of the Ontario Public Works Association’s celebration of National Public Works Week.
The theme for this year’s week is ‘It Starts here’ which is to put a focus on the simple fact that infrastructure programs, mobility and growth start with Public Works, or as the OPWA states, the bottom line is a citizen’s quality of life begins with public works.
The town will support the annual celebration from May 19th through 25th.
