Spring cleaning is about to begin in Val Rita-Harty.
The township has announced they will begin their spring clean-up on Monday, May 27th.
This will involve encouraging residents to toss items such as washer, fridges, furniture such as sofas, beds all at the roadside.
However, you are not allowed to toss any loose garbage, propane tanks, construction debris, cement or wood, carcasses or toxic or explosive substances.

Residents are asked to not use their garbage bin for disposal and to be aware there is a $25 fee for when a fridge is collected in order to remove the Freon
You are being asked to place items on the border of your property, close to the roadway prior to the 8:00am mark on the opening Monday, or after 8:00pm the Sunday prior.
