New bed and pump coming to Sensenbrenner

Sensenbrenner is continuing to see generosity from all angles.

The Kapuskasing Hospital is pleased to announce that the Northern Corridor Children’s Fund has made a donation of $13,525 to Sensenbrenner’s pediatric care.

Thanks to this donation, the hospital will now have a special pediatric bed for children admitted to the hospital, giving them better treatment and care. The cost of the bed was $8,695 says staff.

As well, thanks to the donation a new Medfusion wireless syringe infusion pump was purchased for $4,830, allowing nurses and staff to deliver safe and accurate medication in pediatric, neonatal intensive and adult critical care units as well as the operating room.

CEO of Sensenbrenner Hospital France Dallaire wanted to thank the Northern Corridor Children’s Fund for their thoughtful contribution to improve the quality of care for the community’s younger patients.
