Sensenbrenner gets $14,000 closer to their goal

More donations are coming in and Sensenbrenner is knocking on the door of a CT scan.

Sensenbrenner Staff, including Fundraising Coordinator Lianne Jean says the support they have received in the past few months has been amazing, and yesterday was no different as $14,377 further funds came in to their campaign.

Jean says for starters their hospital’s Chief of Staff Dr. Michael Power generously donated $5,000 to help with the CT scan purchase saying he is very much looking forward to his patients having access to this important service.

Leon’s Furniture and Kap Machine Shop came together to donate $5,000, Denis Dumais donated $1,000 as well as Tom and Lucille Wilson another $1,000.

Roger Isabelle Transport donated $1,000 and the Municipality of Fauquier-Strickland donated $1,377 all from their municipal information breakfast in March.

Jean says Mayor of Fauquier-Strickland Madeleine Tremblay has also made it clear they plan to donate further with a percentage of profits coming from their annual duck race that will take place later this summer on August 10th.

Chair of the CT scan Fundraising Committee Gilbert Peters says their support is not a surprise, as in his experience they can always count on the municipality of Fauquier-Strickland to step up for a cause with the best interests of their residents in mind, and he thanks them very much.
