Kap Gives Back Most To Date

For the first time in event history the year end classic raised over $40,000 for local charities.

Organizing member Claude Boucher of Kap Gives Back reached out to MyKapuskasingNow.com to announce that the fundraiser has raised its most ever to date, topping by $4,000 last year’s highest ever earnings.

Boucher says this allows them to distribute their earnings equally among their three charitable groups, but also for a second straight year to donate to a few additional causes as well.

These extra causes include Sensenbrenner Hospital’s CT scan campaign, Camp Ongrandi, the Disability Resource Centre and also North Centennial Manor’s gazebo project.

However, the group didn’t stop there; they also gave funds to the Kapuskasing Flyers hockey team and Kapuskasing Special Olympics.

Boucher would like to thank all the sponsors and volunteers from all over the community who once again were able to lend a hand to make this event possible.
