The Easter weekend is going to move garbage and recycling pickup in Hearst.
The town has announced that regularly scheduled pickups set for Good Friday of this week will now take place a day earlier on Thursday of this week.
As well, regularly scheduled collection that is set to take place on Easter Monday will now be moved forward a day to Tuesday of next week.
The town asks that you only place your approved garbage and recycling bins out any time after 5:00pm the evening prior to the collection day, and no later than 6:00am the day of pickup.
As well, the landfill site will be open during the Easter weekend on Saturday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
