Ice pellets and freezing rain is being called for overnight.
Environment Canada has put out a special weather statement for Kapuskasing, Hearst and Smooth Rock Falls to expect snow beginning this evening to change over into ice pellets overnight and into freezing rain by tomorrow morning.
The weather agency says a mix of rain and snow tonight will freeze overnight leaving the area with about five to 15 centimetres by Friday morning.
Environment Canada is also saying that the rain is expected to change to freezing rain by Friday and last for several hours throughout the afternoon.
The weather agency says to continue keeping an eye out for freezing rain warnings into Friday.
