The best ‘A’ teams from across Ontario at the Atom level are coming to Kapuskasing, get excited and be supportive.
That’s the message from Owner of JBV Productions and Kapuskasing Councillor Julien Boucher, who says the Ontario Hockey Federation Championships will make their second visit in three years this weekend.
Boucher says not only are the players and coaches excited, but local businesses too as the tournament will bring a lot to the community.
He says that is why as a business owner, resident and town councillor, he is proud to support the youth to stay active by becoming the main sponsor of the team thanks to his $2,500 donation this past week.
Boucher says the atom Icehawks have put a lot of effort towards the tournament this year and they deserve to get that same support from the community, who he says has supported the team through a multitude of different donations from local businesses and organizations.
With the tournament just days away from beginning on Friday, day passes will be sold for five dollars and a weekend pass for $15.
