Police have arrested five people in a drug bust in Iroquois Falls.
The OPP Iroquois Falls Detachment alongside the organized crime and unit of the Northeast region executed a drug search warrant at a property in town back on March 29th.
Police arrested five people as a result of the warrant, while seizing cocaine, meth, and marijuana as well as a Smith and Wesson revolver all in the estimated street value of $26,000.
Officers arrested a 38-year-old Smooth Rock Falls man on eight charges including one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Police also arrested a 51 year-old Kirkland Lake man on eight charges, one of which being possession of a weapon.
Officers also arrested three women from Timmins. A 38-year-old on nine charges, a 33-year-old on eight charges, and a 36-year-old on nine charges, all of whom have been charged with one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
All accused are expected to appear in Timmins court tomorrow.
