Drug charges were laid by police over a routine traffic stop this weekend.
The OPP James Bay Detachments were conducting stops on 11th Street around 9:00pm Saturday in Hearst.
Officers pulled over a vehicle and after conducting a search seized meth as well as cocaine with the estimated street value of $1,000.
Police then arrested the driver, a 41-year-old local man on two charges including one count of possessing meth and one count of possessing cocaine.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Hearst court on April 24th.
