A pair of Hearst residents have been arrested on drug charges.

Members of the OPP James Bay Detachments on Sunday morning executed a drug warrant search at a home on Front Street in Hearst.

A man and woman were arrested as police seized meth and oxycodone with a combined street value of roughly $500.

The 27-year-old local woman was arrested on three charges including one count of possession of meth and one charge of possession of oxycodone.

A 39-year-old Hearst man was also arrested on five charges including one count of possessing cocaine and one charge of possession for the purpose of distributing.

Both accused are scheduled to appear in Hearst court on April 24th.
