Generosity reached a new level this past year in Kapuskasing.
According to Organizer of the North Eastern Ontario Family and Children Services Christmas Angel Campaign Meerielle Dubosq, the final totals fundraised are now official, and with it the town has set a record.
Dubosq says the total revenue brought in during the entire campaign comes in at $22,810.
She says alone in monetary donations they were able to collect $7,810, and then piled on top of that was the $10,000 in toys and gift cards received, as well as another $5,000 in donations from one-on-one sponsors.
In total, Dubosq says they have reached a new high for their campaign within the Kapuskasing community and are extremely proud of the community for doing their part.
