There will be no strike at Timmins Airport tomorrow.
Union of Canadian Transportation Employees regional vice-president Martin Mika tells My Kapuskasing Now Dot ComĀ that no one wants a strike, and his 19 members who do outside work at the airport will not walk off the job tomorrow.Ā He canāt guarantee next week, however.
Mika says the city ā which operates the airport ā will be given 72 hours notice of a strike.Ā His message to City Hall:Ā āWeāre waiting for a phone call.ā
