Nature gets the blame for a delay in a strike vote that was set for yesterday (Mon.,Feb. 25), involving outside workers at the Timmins Airport.
The union for the 19 workers says the vote wasn’t able to go ahead because of the weather.
It is now set for tomorrow. A “yes” vote could see the workers walk off the job on Friday. City Hall says a contingency plan is in place to keep operations running.
