There is a blizzard warning in effect for Kapuskasing, Hearst and Smooth Rock Falls.
A blizzard warning is issued when visibility will be less than 400 meters or less for at least 4 hours.
There is zero visibility and there will be heavy snow at times, total snowfall of 15 to 30cm by Monday morning.
It is highly recommended than any non-essential travel is postponed and to limit any outdoor activity.
CLOSURE:
Hwy 11 from the Hwy 11/17 Nipigon Junction through to Longlac and beyond Hearst has all lanes closed due to winter storm, visibility and highway conditions.
