Crews have completed their work on the second issue on Stewart Avenue.
Water has been restored.

A second water break has been found on Stewart Avenue.
Public Works Manager Eric Cote says crews found the issue immediately as they were finished fixing the original break.
Cote says crews are on scene trying to fix the issue.
There is no current timeline for the fix to be completed, stay tuned for updates.
UPDATE: 2:25pm
The broken pipe on Stewart Avenue should be fixed by about 4:00pm this afternoon.
That’s according to Public WorksManager Eric Cote who tells MyKapuskasingNow.com that by around that time repairs should be completed and everything completely back to normal.
Crews have been on scene since around 9:00am this morning dealing with the issue.
A water pipe has broken on Stewart Avenue in Kapuskasing.
Public Works crews are on scene to fix the current issue.
Manager Eric Cote says they are currently still digging to find the cause of the issue and he says he will alert MyKapuskasingNow.com as soon as an update can be provided.
