Expect a solid dose of the fluffy stuff this evening.

Environment Canada says a total of 15 to 20 centimetres of snow is expected throughout the day and evening in Kapuskasing, Hearst and Smooth Rock Falls.

The weather agency says that at times the snowfall will also be heavy.

They stress that you should adjust any travel plans due to the changing road conditions as highways and roadways will become more snow packed and visibility will become further reduced.

Environment Canada is also expecting northeast winds up to 50 kilometres that will lead to blowing snow.
