The five-day hearing will lead to the sentencing for truck driver Jaskirat Singh Sidhu who recently pleaded guilty causing the deadly crash last April. 16 people were killed and 13 injured after his truck collided with the hockey bus.Underage terrorism suspect from Kingston makes first court appearanceA suspect in a terrorism investigation is making his first court appearance in Ontario today. The suspect, who cannot be named as he’s underage, is accused by the RCMP of trying to execute a ploy to plant a bomb. A Syrian refugee living in Kingston was also arrested in relation to the investigation, but was later released without charges.New home, same problems for Federal LiberalsThe feds are returning for the winter session in their new home for the next decade.
