Canada Post’s Red Alert for the Kapuskasing community has continued through the weekend and into today.
The Red Alert signifies that due to the extreme weather conditions deliveries are suspended.
The postal service decided on Friday that due to the frigid weather conditions deliveries for the remainder of the day would be cancelled.

Since Friday delivery service has remained suspended due to the current extreme cold warning alert hanging over the area throughout the weekend.
Canada Post has stated that delivery will resume once conditions improve and it becomes safe to do so.
