Highway 11 homes and businesses have seen their water restored.
Kapuskasing Public Works has advised the town that the water break was repaired around 11:30pm last night.
Town Clerk Chantal Guillemette has alerted MyKapuskasingNow.com that the issue that shut off water to properties between Comfort Inn and Clear Lake Road, as well as parts of Mill Street, has been fixed.
As well, Highway 11 has been re-opened to its full two lanes within the area of the original issue.
Homes and business from Comfort Inn to Clear Lake Road are without water.
Kapuskasing Town Clerk Chantal Guillemette has alerted MyKapuskasingNow.com that a water break has occurred along Highway 11 and that because of it, properties from Comfort Inn to Clear Lake Road and even parts of Mill Street are without any water.
Crews are on scene currently for repairs, and the town will be advising residents as they come to know approximate time when the water will finally be restored.
Also, because of the water break, parts of Highway 11 are being reduced to one lane for traffic at this time.
